Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, Saito delights in sharing her heritage through music. Miki performed her Japanese music at the Cleveland Asian Festival in May 2016 (the festival drew 48,800 people). She is available to collaborate with others for projects involving Japanese music.

 

Here is a video of Miki performing in 2016 Cleveland Asian Festival with Stephanie Tyler (Flute), Diana Tyler (Tambourine) and Joshua Ludwig (Keyboard 2).  The second video is a short excerpt of Miki's arrangement of "Sakura", one of the most beloved traditional Japanese songs (Special Thanks to Gardenview Horticultural Park in Strongsville, Ohio)

Miki used the paintings of Hokusai Katsushika (one of the most influential Japanese painters in the 1700’s) to create this music video for her arrangement of “Kojono tsuki.
